It's off to Royal Liverpool we go for the final Major of the year.
Also known as Hoylake, this is the second oldest seaside club in England after being established in 1869 and it is a demanding test for the players.
2014 was the last time the Open was hosted here and it was also the last time Rory Mcilroy tasted Major success. Some may say the stars are aligning for the Irishman as he braved some tough conditions this past weekend to win the Scottish Open (and he'll no doubt find his way into many of your lineups as a result).
Mcilroy's win in 2014 won't go down as the most memorable one at Royal Liverpool though - that feat belongs to Bobby Jones in 1930 when he added to his US Open, US Amateur and British Amateur titles that year by winning the Open and completing a Grand Slam of sorts.
Pretty impressive when you consider he was only 28 years old at the time!
Pretty impressive is a good way to describe the performance of Golf Champs co founder Cameron this past week as he starred on the Condor golf podcast. Have a listen here (Apple, Spotify) and don't forget to join their pool this weekend to stand a chance of winning some great prizes.
Great prizes we are not short of this week with Titleist drivers, Srixon wedges, bags and caps, Breazies vouchers, trips to Fancourt and St Francis Links and House of Golf memberships up for grabs. See our full listing of prizes for the week here
A few of these are going to need some additional work from you
