It has been a week in the world of golf. And there still doesn’t seem to be much certainty as to what the next steps are.

How will the LIV/PGA tour merger look? Is Greg Norman still involved? Are LIV players allowed to compete in PGA events? What will the Saudi’s serve at next year’s Masters dinner?

Against this backdrop it’s off to the L.A.C.C North course for the U.S. Open, where we are sure to see some pretty tricky playing conditions and plenty of chatter about the recent merger. It doesn’t get more patriotic than this!

From a selection point of view, you’ve got your favourites in Scottie, Rahmbo, Brooks and Rors (who might feel the weight lifted off his shoulders) as well as the “Cali kids” in Max Homa and Collin Morikawa.

Defending champ Matt Fitzpatrick will be there. And LIV is once again well represented with Cam Smith, DJ, Fatrick (typo) Reed, Bryson and Sergio joining in.
